Russell Yelland

Our expanded team!

Our expanded team!

As we enter the final weeks of 2025, we’d like you to join us in welcoming some new team members to the Russell & Yelland office.

Graduates of Architecture, Connor Armstrong and Whitney Huang, and Architect, Fiorina Donato, bring a diversity of skills and experience to the team. Each has hit the ground running, helping to progress various projects through documentation and construction, and commencing concept contributions for some new ventures.

Connor Armstrong, Graduate of Architecture

1/1 Connor Armstrong, Graduate of Architecture

Connor joined us back in April and has adjusted quickly to our collegial environment with his calm, problem-solving approach. He has been open to venturing further afield to develop his craft, which has previously included a study tour to Indonesia, and work on hospitality projects for commercial clients in Singapore. At R&Y, Connor has assisted with design development and documentation for the recent Helping Hand Aged Care projects in Whyalla and the St Mark’s Food Technology expansion project in Port Pirie.

Whitney Huang, Graduate of Architecture

1/1 Whitney Huang, Graduate of Architecture

It has been just a couple of months but our newest Graduate of Architecture, Whitney, has already demonstrated how her experience in both landscape design and architectural practice brings a unique combination of skills to our team. She finished top of her class at the University of Adelaide, where she has also worked as a model maker and academic tutor. We’re already excited by some of the early landscape modelling she has turned her hand to, and her capacity to work across a variety of office projects simultaneously.

Architect, Fiorina Donato

1/1 Architect, Fiorina Donato

Registered Architect, Fiorina Donato joined us in mid-November after four years in the industry working on residential, multi-residential and mixed-use projects. She is a diligent addition, and we look forward to seeing her build on some solid early experience, developing designs and progressing them through to realisation.

We would also like to formally welcome Elyssa Schreiner, a Student of Architecture who has been working with us part time over the past year, and Chase Daniele who has been on secondment with us for a number of months.

It’s wonderful to end the year with such an affable team, so hungry for learning and collaboration. An expanded team has set up the office for some important momentum on our current projects when we return from the Christmas break in early January.
